Hello Digital Landlord,
My name is Randy and I'm a Digital Marketer. Earning consistent month-to-month cashflow from online "digital assets" is the closest thing to "passive income" in the online business space and I've mastered the process!

I started getting my feet wet with building websites and ranking them (SEO) in early 2006 after being sick and tired not having any leads for my local business. I didn't want to spend thousands of dollars to have a professional website built only to have the website basically be a "glorified business card" with no traffic or leads coming in.

I knew there had to be a way to easily build sites and rank them so my phone would start ringing with customer who needed the service I offered. In other words I wanted them to chase me instead of the other way around.

Think about it, there are so many ways to market an brick and mortar small business. In my industry we us offline marketing tactics like bandit signs, postcards, door knocking and of course referrals. However as the internet became more and more of a standard in marketing a shift began to occur and I recognized that shift early on.

I noticed that when ever I needed a local service; anything my heart desired, I would simply pull up my computer desktop, laptop or cell phone and well, "google it". This was for anything from a local pizza shop for a quick bite, a hair stylist or a dentist who does orthodontics. 

So I thought to myself, "How can I rank my business on the top page of the search engines so I could get leads "organically". This obviously will be much less expensive than all the offline methods of marketing I'm failing at and yet the conversion and close rates will be much, much higher.

So that's what I set out to do. Get my company on the 1st page of a search engine like Google or Yahoo and start getting leads/customers.

There was only one problem... I had no idea how to build a website. Back then we didn't have the "drag and drop" tools (such as Weebly, Wix or Square) we have today.

I spent the next several months piecing it all together. 

That means learning all the ins and outs of not only building full 5-10 page websites but also adding in the factors the search engines wanted to see so they rank well.

I learned a lot and fast. I did most of this learning and applying via a website I'm sure your familiar with, YouTube (University). LOL.

Now I have a few dozen website producing constantly producing month to month cashflow! I am a digital landlord!
